Academy FAQs

  • An Academy is a comprehensive 4-week clinic specially crafted to enhance the fundamental skills of tackle football players during the offseason. Each session focuses on a distinct aspect of the game, allowing it to benefit newcomers who are about to embark on their first tackle football season this fall, as well as experienced athletes looking to advance to the next level.

  • Academies cater to both experienced and novice tackle football players, providing them with the opportunity to sharpen their skills and gain a competitive advantage while preparing for the upcoming season.

  • No, Doing sequential sessions is not mandatory. However, it's important to note that the second session will build upon the content covered in the first session, focusing on more advanced fundamentals to further enhance your athlete's skills.

  • The recommended age ranges for the Academies and Clubs are based off of the local tackle football age groups( pee wee (5-7), freshman (8-9), JV (10-11), Modified (11-13) etc. If you have questions about what age group or session to enroll your athlete in, please reach out to us directly at bufleague@gmail.com.

  • Academy enrollment is limited to maintain a small athlete to coach ratio. Enrollment is limited on a first come basis.

  • Sneakers or turf shoes

  • Academies are $135 per 4 week session.

  • Winter clinics will be held at Sports Performance Park, located in the Eastern Hills Mall at 4545 Transit Road, Williamsville, NY 14221.

  • Yes! There is no restriction on how many academies an athlete can participate in.

Club FAQs

  • Pop-up clubs are offered as frequently as possible, each focusing on specific skill sets. These one-hour classes provide a chance for athletes to boost their skills without the need for a 4-week commitment, making them a perfect to do what you love or exploring new positions.

  • One-hour pop up Clubs maintain an 8:1 coach to athlete ratio.
